So I promised photos of the honeymoon a while ago so I think it's finally time to deliver. We went on an AMAZING cruise to the Caribbean. It was a five day trip and we stopped in three different ports, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. My favorite was Grand Turk. Maybe that was because it was the first stop :) It was so gorgeous! We were one of the first few off of the boat, so the water was so peaceful (and warm, which was AMAZING!) We took a stroll on the beach and played in to the water. We went snorkeling in the afternoon. It was my first time but Joe had done it before. It was so cool! I loved watching all of the marine life. We were even lucky enough to see a sea turtle.

Our next stop was Half Moon Cay. Carnival owns this island so it was very secluded. We went swimming with Sting Rays there. Let me tell you, watching a group of gigantic stingray swim around gracefully is such a surreal experience. We were able to feed them and I even gave one a big smooch! We had a little more time on this island so we were able to hang out on the beach and rent paddle boats to explore the ocean a little more.

Our final island stop was Nassau. We didn't plan any "formal" excursion there. We did, however, take an adventurous taxi van ride with a local tour guide. It was so nice because we were able to see the whole island that way. Not just the super tourist part. It was very eye opening to see just how fortunate we are to live in America and have the blessings we do. Nassau was beautiful, like all of the other islands. We finished up at Atlantis. The most elaborate hotel I have ever seen. It was crazy to see how much this island relied on tourism.

We had an amazing time. Thank you so much to Sara for taking us to Miami. We would not have been able to have the wonderful honeymoon we did without you. It was such an amazing experience!! We loved our cruise and met some really great people. Our dining friends were a wonderful couple from New York and the shows were fun (a little cheesy , but it's a cruise so that's allowed, right?) Can't wait for our next adventure as husband and wife.
